Tesla posted a first quarter loss of 57 cents per share on revenue of $1.6 billion. Analysts were looking for a loss of 58 cents a share on sales of $1.6 billion. Last year, Tesla lost 36 cents per share on sales of $1.1 billion in its first quarter.
